Thai Stock Exchange Approves Cross-Listing in Local, Regional Markets.

May 27--The Stock Exchange of Thailand has approved cross-listing between bonds issued in the local market and bonds issued regionally to support the development of the Asia Bond market as promoted by the government.

Patareeya Benchakulchai, a SET vice-president, said the SET board hoped the measure would help improve the debt market and the competitiveness of the local exchange.

Bonds eligible for the project include baht bonds and regional currency-denominated bonds, she said.
