High-up hoppers.(red-eyed tree frogs)

It's a dark night in a Central American rainforest. High above the ground, a colorful acrobat leaps from one branch to another. It's a red-eyed tree frog!

With a big hop, the little frog soars through the air and lands on a twisted vine. There he pauses. His special toe pads work like suction cups, helping him cling tightly to the spot.

The frog looks all around. Even in the dark, he can see well with his big red eyes. Nearby, a cricket is creeping across a leaf. But right now the little tree frog doesn't care. He isn't after a meal. He's after a mate!
