Preparing school administrators.

The role of school administrators has become increasingly complex. State mandated testing has brought on a plethora of responsibilities. Pupils are tested in grades three through eight in reading and mathematics. If pupils fail to pass a test, they may be held back to repeat that grade level. An exit test is given in high school which needs to be passed for the student to receive a diploma. Also, If a school does not meet adequate yearly progress (AYP) two years in a row, it is labeled as "failing." Pupils are then to be tutored and may select a "passing" school to attend.
