WASHINGTON _ Two weeks after Florida's immigration suit against the federal government fizzled out, Attorney General Janet Reno and Gov. Lawton Chiles on Wednesday unveiled a sweeping strategy to drive illegal immigrants from the Sunshine State.

No price tag was given for the program, which ranged from building a new 240,000-square-foot Immigration and Naturalization Service building at an undisclosed Miami location to adding about 200 new federal immigration-related jobs statewide to increasing detention space for illegal immigrants who make it to Florida.
