Merger with Major Player Accelerates Iron Mountain Growth
BOSTON, Mass., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Iron Mountain (Nasdaq: IMTN) announced today that it has reached a definitive agreement to merge with Safesite Records Management Corporation, a privately-held company also based in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Iron Mountain is the nation's largest records management company with operations in 33 U.S. markets; Safesite is believed to be the nation's fourth largest records management company with operations in 14 U.S. markets. Upon completion of the transaction, Iron Mountain will serve more than 30,000 customers nationwide.
