Bryant Will Start Again at QB, Hopes to Improve

Navy senior Jarod Bryant will make his second straight start at quarterback this Friday against Ball State. Senior Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku- Enhada, who is recovering from an injured hamstring, was in full pads yesterday at practice and is getting closer to being ready to play, but Coach Ken Niumatalolo said that they don't want to push him too much.

Bryant was solid in Navy's 41-13 victory over Towson, rushing for 75 yards on 17 carries and completing 2 of 4 passes for 44 yards. He scored Navy's first touchdown on a 20-yard run, and threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to a wide-open Bobby Doyle on the Midshipmen's opening drive of the second half.

Afterward, Bryant said he didn't play his best game. ...
