Sequoia High School choral group celebrates a century

THE 100TH Anniversary Concert celebrating the founding of Sequoia High School's famed Treble Clef choral group will be held at 8 p.m. Sept. 22 in Carrington Hall on the Sequoia campus in Redwood City.

Sequoia's beloved former music director, Otis M. Carrington, founded Treble Clef in 1907. The renowned singing group performed for countless community organizations and won many competitive music awards during the years it was in existence.

Under the direction of Jay Selby, also a retired Sequoia music director, over 60 Treble Clef alumni from all over the country will perform the music; one member is coming from Switzerland!
