ARCHIVE FIRM SUES A DIRECTOR IRON MOUNTAIN SAYS EX-WORKERS VIOLATED NONCOMPETE PACTS

Iron Mountain Inc.'s friendly merger with a competing records- management company doesn't look so friendly any more.

Last week, Boston-based Iron Mountain sued a board member and several former employees, alleging they violated noncompete agreements and other obligations by setting up another company that could break Iron Mountain's grip on the corporate archives market.

The main defendants deny the allegations in the suit, filed in Middlesex County Superior Court in New Jersey. It follows four other suits Iron Mountain has pursued against a Pennsylvania start-up, Sequedex, whose chief executive and other top employees once worked at Pierce Leahy Corp. before that company was purchased by ...
