Sequoia chorus observes 100th anniversary

The Sequoia High School Treble Clef, directed by Jay Selby, retired Sequoia High School choral director, received a standing ovation from nearly 400 people after its recent, outstanding 100th Anniversary Reunion and Concert held at the school's Carrington Hall in Redwood City.

Lisa Thompson Shepherd of Redwood City was the accompanist and Dr. Jeffrey Filippi was emcee.

Rebecca Barlow Salt of Virginia, piano; Kristin Genis Lund of Sunnyvale and Gina Argenti Schultz of San Jose, both sopranos; and Roberta Wain Becker of Sausalito, contralto, were featured soloists.
