TREAT To Host Rodeo For Kids With Special Needs

Tarleton State University issued the following news release:

Tarleton State University's Equine Assisted Therapy (TREAT) is hosting its bi-annual rodeo for children with special needs on Tues., Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The rodeo will be held at the Tarleton Equine Center, located on College Farm Road off of Lingleville Highway in Stephenville.

Rodeo participants will compete in events such as pole bending, stick horse barrel racing, dummy roping and a farm animal petting zoo.

Participants in the last TREAT rodeo held on April 15 came from many area schools including Weatherford, Mineral Wells, Dublin, Comanche, Stephenville, Hamilton, Hico, Granbury, Glen Rose and the Happy Hills ...
